GoodLand Bee Supply has created the beginning beekeepers kits to make beekeeping a snap to get started. The GoodLand GLE4STACK beehive kit has all the essential (except the bees) to get you started on your beekeeping adventures. The beehive is made from long-lasting kiln dried pine and has all the necessities included from top to bottom for a successful colony and honey production.

1 Full Telescoping Cover

Telescoping hive cover "telescopes" over the sides of the top supper to protect the hive.

1 Inner Cover

Inner Cover creates a dead air space to help insulation the hive from the heat and cold. The inner cover also allows easy removal of the lid by preventing the bees from internally affixing the lid to the hive with propolis or bee glue.

1 Queen Excluder

The queen excluder keeps the queen bee in the brood chambers as she is too large to pass through the excluder. This prevents the queen from laying eggs in the top supers allowing only honey to be produced. This kit includes one queen excluder.

2 Shallow Supers

Supers are the part of the hive bees store their extra “surplus” honey in t for the beekeeper to harvest at the end of the season. This kit includes two supers, more can be added throughout the season if production allows.

20 Super Frames & 20 Pierco Super Foundations

Frames are used to support the honeycomb foundations. The honeycomb foundations provide the building blocks and surface in which the bees will build out their honeycomb and store excess honey for harvest. Made from kiln dried pine this kit includes 20 frames, 10 for each super and 20 Pierco pre-waxed black plastic foundations.

2 Hive Bodies (Brood Boxes)

The lower larger boxes or "Brood Boxes / Chambers" are the bee's living quarters. The queen lays eggs in these chambers and brood is raised. Honey is also stored for the bee's food reserves. This Kit includes two hive bodies.

20 Large Frames & 20 Large Pierco Foundations

Large frames are used to support the large honeycomb foundations. The honeycomb foundations provide the building blocks and surface in which the bees will build out their honeycomb which will be used by the queen lays eggs in these chambers and raise brood. Made from kiln dried pine this kit includes 20 large frames, 10 for each large box and 20 Pierco pre-waxed large black plastic foundations.

1 Bottom Board with Entrance Reducer

The bottom board or “base” forms the floor of the hive. This kit contains one bottom board complete with entrance reducer to protect the hive from mice and help regulate temperature during winter.
